2004 GMC Yukon XL
Going back to the introduction of 2004 GMC Yukon XL, its 1/2 Ton 2WD is equipped
with a standard 5.3-liter, V8, 295-horsepower engine. Its flexible fuel engine
achieves 14-mpg in the city and 18-mpg on the highway. 3/4 Ton 4WD is equipped
with a standard 6.0-liter, V8, 335-horsepower engine. Standard on both trims is
a 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive.

The feature of 2005 GMC Yukon XL is a carryover of enhancement made in 2004.
The GMC Yukon XL is a 4-door, up to 9-passenger sport-utility, available in 4
trims, ranging from the 1/2 Ton 2WD to the 3/4 Ton 4WD. The Yukon XL is practically
as popular as its smaller sibling. Offered in ½-ton 1500 models and ¾-ton 2500s
Yukon XL doesn't up the passenger capacity, but it does make an exceptionally
roomy interior cabin. Added to the regular length of Yukon's wheelbase is Fourteen
inches increase from its original size. This creates an arena-like ambiance inside
the full-size SUV.
There is plenty of cargo-carrying capacity with GMC's foundation. Anyone may
just learn and know how to find a way to use it all. The 2004 Yukons are offered
with rear-wheel drive with standard traction control and limited-slip differential,
or General Motors' Autotrac 4WD that can be left occupied on dry pavement. It
includes low-range gearing. New for the year 2004 model are 17-inch, the six-spoke
premium aluminum wheels, which are available on Yukon XL SLT models. The new stylish
wheels can be shod with either all-season blackwalls or whitewalls, or on-off-road
blackwalls. The modern optional SLT package adds more than just new wheels to
the car's performance, and it provides great handling.
